Known as the island of contrasts, the variety of landscapes and the superb climate make Tenerife a perfect location for outdoor activities. La Caleta on the south coast of Tenerife is a small fishing village that has recently seen major development with the addition of the all-suite Royal Hideaway Corals Resort, which dominates the skyline at the back of the village.

La Caleta National Park

Venture into the spectacular volcanic landscape of La Caleta National Park, where lovers of nature will find plenty of native flora and fauna to admire. And we think the ocean views from the tops of the rocky outcrops are well worth the hike. Don’t forget to bring your sunhat!

Car Hire

A hire car gives you so much more freedom and adds an extra dimension to any holiday. We would be delighted to quote you prices. Tenerife has an excellent road network and La Caleta is perfectly placed if you feel like exploring the island.

Sandy beaches

If you prefer a more manicured stretch of sand, then the nearby Costa Adeje offers some lovely beaches – Playa del Duque and Playa Fañabé are two of the most popular and offer plenty of facilities perfect for families.

Golf & Spa

La Caleta is particularly well placed for golfers with Golf Costa Adeje, a 27 hole championship course, only a 5 minute car journey away. For something a little more relaxing, our featured properties in La Caleta, Royal Hideaway Corales Resort, has an excellent spa, perfect for some personal pampering.

Watersports

Tenerife’s stunning coastline offers superb locations for a great range of watersports and activities and neighbouring Costa Adeje has a huge variety on offer. From parasailing, surfing and windsurfing to diving and snorkelling, there’s something for every couple and family to enjoy.

Activities

Tenerife has so much to offer and although La Caleta is fairly quiet, holidaymakers can, throughout the year, sail the Atlantic Ocean; trek through lush forests; explore unspoilt national parks; discover ancient trails by horseback; enjoy dolphin and whale watching excursions; and much more. For the children (or adults!) there is Siam Park, only 15 minutes by car, a waterpark offering all manner of rides, not all for the faint hearted!
