Lively nightlife here

Budva Montenegro

Budva is the liveliest resort on the coast (positively buzzing in July and August) with some excellent beaches and superb watersports.

The walled old town is home to churches and museums and a maze of cobbled streets where white stone has been polished by footsteps is where you will find bars, restaurants and some interesting boutique shops.  The sea-facing side of the old town has no ramparts and is open to the city beach – providing a unique sport for a swim.

The main beach is the long Slovenska Plaza that starts close to the old town and sweeps round the bay to a headland that almost touches neighbouring Becici. In summer water taxis operate from the marina by the old town to various nearby bays and coves, Budva is a perfect choice for families with teenage children and there’s an excellent bus service that connects all resorts on the coast. Day and night-life offers opportunities to enjoy theatre plays and performances, music events and entertainment programs.

Things to see and do

Explore the old town with its narrow streets and alleyways, unless you like bustling beaches make your way further down Mogren beach to the far end and through the coves to what is known as Mogren2 beach.

There are many churches and architectural things to explore here. Walk the hiking path to Sveti Stephan though the full route is 10km. Take a boat trip around Boka Kotorska, do some shopping in the little boutiques or choose from a wide choice of dining options.
