Hotel Minister Pool

A modern, minimalist hotel right on the beach.

MG 200x2240Rooms

The hotel only has 23 rooms, which are decorated in a modern minimalist style. Rooms are of an open plan design and all have a balcony or terrace, safe (charge), hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and smart TV. All bathrooms have a walk-in shower. Complimentary Wi-fi is available in all areas of the hotel. Superior twin or double rooms and spacious Deluxe Suites are at the rear of the hotel overlooking the pool and the back of the town. We particularly liked the spacious Junior Suites, which have stunning views (some obscured by palm trees) of the bay at the front of the hotel. Quite a unique feature of both the Junior and Deluxe Suites are the funky colour therapy showers, which certainly make for a great shower experience!

Living

The trendy buffet restaurant Sa Gavina on the ground floor serves breakfast and also table d'hôte evening meals offering International, Spanish and local cuisine should you choose the half board option. The restaurant and bar spill out onto the terrace and seafront promenade at the front of the hotel, a perfect place to while away the time over a glass of chilled wine or a coffee. The hotel’s à la carte De Buey restaurant, well-known for its fish and meat dishes cooked at your table on hot stones, is adjacent to the bar and also situated on the promenade.

Wine aficionados will like the excellent selection of wines the hotel offers and there are even wine tasting sessions (bookable and payable locally), which are held in its modern yet rustic Vinothek situated at the back of the restaurant.

There is a small outdoor pool at the rear of the hotel with a number of very comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas on a small decked terrace, perfect for soaking up the sun. Pool towels are provided. An adjacent pool bar provides refreshing drinks. During high season there is occasional entertainment on the terrace of the hotel.

The hotel also provides kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles for guests’ use, and for those wishing to explore the area there numerous walks in and around the valley behind the resort and along the coast. Why not walk to the lighthouse Faro Muleta, a walk of around 30 minutes, and of course a ride on the famous tram, that connects the port with the old town of Sóller, is an absolute must.

Perfect for couples and friends, the contemporary design of the Hotel Minister is well-suited to style-conscious travellers and provides a great base from which to explore this lovely part of the island.

We will get you here from Palma airport by private taxi in about 35 minutes.
