Palma de Mallorca

This lovely city is the capital of Mallorca and has lots to see and do. The narrow winding streets have a cosmopolitan vibe and are full of a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and museums. 

Steeped in history, the city offers beautiful architecture with La Seu Cathedral one of the main attractions. The Cathedral is located near the waterfront and is gothic inspired, in a prime position near the waterfront with a sandy beach opposite.

The city also offers a port which is home to some luxurious yachts.

In front of the Cathedral there is a useful underground car park a good place to park the car then work your way up into the old town. 

History & Culture

Explore the museums and galleries or wander the narrow streets and discover the Roman and Moorish history of the city. As well as the Cathedral, the Castle and the Arab baths are amongst other places of interest within the city.


A shopper’s paradise! Head for Jaime III which offers smaller shops, Las Avenidas the main shopping street with well known names, or the smaller streets of St Nicolau and Placa Rosario. You will find some great shoe shops, designer shops, jewellery shops plenty for the serious shopper! 


From small bistros, tapas bars and fine dining restaurants, Palma has something to suit every taste and occasion. There are also international restaurants including Japanese, Belgian and Indian.
