Longest black sand beach on La Palma

Puerto Noas La PalmaLocated on the south west coast of La Palma this is a lovely, small, uncommercialised resort in which to relax and unwind and explore this side of the island.
The resort has everything you need including a delightful promenade with a few bars, shops and restaurants, a lovely spot just to people watch or to admire the magnificent sunsets.

Plenty to do here

There is plenty to do in this area of the island - guided walks, mountain bike hire and tours, day trips, boat trips (from Tazacorte harbour), some watersports and diving. Puerto Tazacorte is only a 15 minute drive along the coast where you can enjoy boat trips and more.

Los Llanos & Tazacorte

The resort of Los Llanos is also close by (only 10 minutes by car) and is the largest and busiest town on the island with a population of just over 20,000. There are many modern buildings but the traffic-free centre and surrounding side streets still retain their old character. Well worth a visit.

The area of Tazacorte, on the west coast of La Palma is mostly farmlands, producing almost exclusively bananas. It also claims to be the warmest area on the island! Whereas the the small town has a long promenade with bars and restaurants and the harbour.
