Halifax, where you will be based for the entirety of our four-day group excursion, is a lively Canadian city known for its pubs and high-quality beer. It’s set in the province of Nova Scotia, one of the most beautiful areas in the entire country. Over the course of your time in Canada you will have the opportunity to explore four fascinating areas, learn about their amazing maritime history and see some of the world’s most stunning natural beauty.
Halifax and Peggy’s Cove
Day one will allow for independent adventuring after your arrival in Halifax – we recommend exploring the historic waterfront or wandering through the gorgeous Victorian Halifax Public Gardens. On day two, you and the rest of the group will meet at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, located at the very heart of the waterfront. As the name suggests, the museum (which is the largest and oldest in the entire country) focuses on the rich maritime heritage of Nova Scotia. Once you arrive, you will attend a tour of the area led by an expert local guide.
This tour will also include a visit to Peggy’s Cove, an iconic Nova Scotia landmark less than an hour away from Halifax. This beautiful region has inspired explorers and artists for over 150 years – join us and see why for yourself.
