Hotel Park, Split
The five-star Hotel Park is just a few minutes to the glamorous old city of Split and just a few steps to the world-famous Bacvice beach, where you’ll be greeted with warm waters of the Adriatic. In our experience, though, the hotel’s multiple amenities and unrivalled splendour might tempt you to skip the beach and spend the whole holiday on its grounds.
Guests at the Hotel Park can feast on exquisite meals at the on-site Restaurant Split featuring a palm tree-lined “glass garden” conservatory. Or else wander over to the Chef’s Table or settle yourself at the Imperial Bar with its atmospheric live piano music. All of the sophisticated and sleek air-conditioned rooms come equipped with blackout curtains, signature bedding and toiletries by Roberto Cavalli – nothing less than top quality for this Croatia resort.
And don’t forget a stop at the Priska Spa, offering a range of features including:
- VIP couple’s Jacuzzi
- Finnish sauna
- Salt room with salt-encrusted walls
- Treatment rooms
Amadria Capital Heritage Park Hotel, Zagreb
The brand new five-star Amadria Capital Heritage Park Hotel is in the heart of Croatia’s capital, but I consider it a refined escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is one of my favourite Croatia hotels, offering the grandeur of the early 20th century with a touch of modern sophistication.
Artistic Influences and First-Class Service
The building was constructed in the early 1920s and preserves the influence of the era’s Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles, but it’s recently undergone a makeover to inject new luxury. Have a bite at the restaurant or experience Zagreb’s famous café society in the historical district. Before you leave, I suggest shopping for gifts and souvenirs in the hotel’s exclusive boutique shop, which offers the finest luxury goods.
Hotel Monte Mulini, Rovinj
Perched on the coast of the Adriatic, this Croatia resort offers a range of perfect views of the sea from atop a gentle slope. The fine dining restaurant Mediteraneo has become one of the best regarded in Croatia and features a wine vault with more than 500 labels. During the day, lounge in the pool (which features its own swim-up bar) or enjoy a cocktail in the lobby bar, decorated with an elegant Murano glass light-tree.
The resort’s three-floor wellness centre and spa feature a large gym, personal trainers, a flotation tank and massage therapists. Many of our clients like to borrow a free bike from the hotel and enjoy the coastline. Back in your air-conditioned room, you can relax on the comfortable furniture that’s been luxuriously upholstered and enjoy awe-inspiring views. All rooms come equipped with a balcony or terrace.
