Quieter than some other resorts

san agustin200San Agustin is quieter than its neighbour Playa del Ingles and would suit couples or families with older children.

The beaches here are also less crowded. The sand is dark coloured but soft.  Conditions here are ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving.

Things to do

San Agustin may be quieter but it is no shrinking violet – there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars and evening entertainment, including a Casino.

If you are looking for a change of scenery or even more facilities then Maspalomas with its renown sand dunes or Playa del Ingles are close by.

A day out

The capital city of Las Palmas is well worth a day visit; “must see” includes the Vegueta Quarter which is where you will find the cathedral within the lovely old cobbled streets. You can even take a lift to the top of the cathedral and get a great city view. The Triana district is where the shopperholics will be happy with a selection of large chain stores and some quality boutiques.

Our chosen hotel here

The hotel, Don Gregory by Dunas, is adults only (16 yrs plus), has a beachfront location and offers and “all inclusive” option.
