Easy access from/to Dubrovnik

Clusters of traditional stone houses in the villages of Donjo Celo and Gornje Celo and a few bars and restaurants there.

Kolocep is the first stop from Dubrovnik on the ferry on the way from the famous city and the last on the way back. So, in addition to visiting the unique walled city, a 30 minute ferry ride will take you to the island of Lopud where you can spend a whole day returning in the evening. Another 15minutes beyond is the island of Sipan where a day trip is also possible.

The island is locally knows by Croats as “Kalamota” (foreigners say “Kolocep”)

A number of sandy beaches across the island (unusual in Croatia) including right in front of our chosen property, the Apartotel Kalamota.
