This warm and friendly hotel offers high standards of quality and service, in a commanding position above Puerto de la Cruz. Situated in the Taoro Park with views of Mount Teide and the sea, the hotel is in a lovely tranquil location.

In the hotels wonderful sub-tropical gardens, you will find the heatable freshwater swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas for warm sunny days. The gardens have over 300 species, many of them labelled so guests can appreciate the many varieties. In fact the hotel does a garden tour once a week for guests. They have more palm trees than they do hotel beds.

A well established family owned 4 star hotel

Accommodation is offered in 76 twin rooms or 7 Junior Suites and face Taoro Park or Mount Teide (at a supplement), all have a partial seaview. All rooms have a balcony, air-conditioning, mini-bar, Satellite TV, safe (small charge), hairdryer and bathrobes.

Dining is pleasure with buffet breakfast served in Restaurant Jardin, with a terrace with views of the gardens and the ocean. Dinner is a mixture of buffet and waiter service. A jacket and tie are required in the evening. A la carte dining is served in Restaurant Tinguaro and half board guests receive a credit.

A tennis court, a daily hotel bus service to Puerto de la Cruz, a hairdresser, a cosy lounge with a fireplace and a bar with live music three times a week add to the facilities.

The Tigaiga is recommended for good service and relaxation in a quiet location.
