A sweet rural hotel in Guimar

This is a very sweet country property surrounded by its own avocado groves. Its out of town location will appeal to those looking for a quiet ‘independent’ holiday.

Formerly a manor house, which has been tastefully converted, the Finca Salamanca retains much of the original architecture and atmosphere.

With a total of only twenty rooms, 9 of which are smaller standard rooms with bath, safe, mini-bar, ceiling fan and satellite TV, 3 larger superior rooms with the addition of a terrace and the 4 Junior Suites and 4 cabin style Bungalows, this is a relaxing away from it all hotel.

Finca Salamanca does have a small restaurant and the dinner menu is varied and includes some local specialities. We recommend you pay for dinner locally so that you can try some other local restaurants during your stay. Breakfast is a limited buffet. Gala dinners on 25 and 31 Dec are included in our prices.

A good base from which to explore the “other side” of Tenerife

A heated swimming pool with sun terraces, a poolside bar, a comfortable lounge and a games room, free Wi-fi are also on offer and the staff are willing and helpful.

We will provide you with a Group B hire car at the airport (and directions to Finca Salamanca) this will give you the independence to explore the ‘other’ Tenerife. There is a beach and small town only 2 kms away and Santa Cruz, the islands capital, is 26 kms away, Playa de las Americas is a 53 kms drive.

This rural property is for our more independent travellers who like the smaller style of property. As always our excellent team on the island are available to you.
