Five minute from the beach

This is a charming smaller hotel just a five minute walk downhill to the Playa Fañabe beach. It is the sister hotel to the more luxurious Jardines de Nivaria and Roca Nivaria.

ACCOMMODATION

There are 145 comfortable guest rooms in total, plus four family rooms, each of these have two bedrooms and one bathroom. The five suites are very spacious, and have a separate lounge and a large balcony with sunbeds and umbrellas (sorry, not for families).

The hotel also offers Superior pool facing rooms at a supplement, which have been renovated and have a Plasma TV, a separate shower and bath in the bathroom. All rooms have satellite TV, a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, air-conditioning and a safe (€15 per week), some inter-connect. A balcony or terrace is standard and we at Prestige prefer to offer pool facing rooms rather than the inland rooms that face the road.

DINING

The restaurant serves a very varied breakfast and dinner buffet with show cooking, although waiter service is on hand in the evening for your main course if you prefer. The half board supplement is very good value. Lunch is served at the poolside snack bar.

LEISURE FACILITIES

Entertainment is offered in the lobby bar most evenings – either live music or a show. Free internet access and free Wi-fi are available in the main building.

Apart from being a very cosy spot to relax the Colon Guanahani offers lots of activities, including two heated saltwater pools, squash, small gym, a sauna, rooftop Jacuzzi and a beauty parlour. A floodlit tennis court is available at nearby Jardines de Nivaria.
