Reads is a luxury hotel, at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains, in Mallorca´s largest wine region yet only 15 minutes from Palma.  A five star hotel with enormous character and an exceptional range of facilities and Restaurant, Reads is a member of Relais & Chateaux and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The nearby small village of Santa Maria is midway between Palma and Inca and a perfect position for exploring the island. The wine producing area of Binissalem is also close by and, indeed, Reads have established their own vineyard and wine.

ACCOMMODATION

Guests at Reads are offered 23 beautifully appointed rooms, each different from the others. There are Deluxe rooms, junior suites which are much larger with a terrace and suites have a separate sitting room also with a terrace. The décor and furnishings are of the highest standards and modern comforts include LCD TV, DVD player (on request), air-conditioning/heating, robes, slippers, a hairdryer and a safe. All rooms have views across the landscaped gardens towards the countryside and mountains.

DINING

Dining is a particular pleasure, Reads boasts two restaurants, the superb BACCHUS restaurant offering fine dining and the colourful Blues Bistro. 

Blues Bistro is open for lunch and dinner offering classic dishes from around the world. During the summer months (weather permitting) dinner is served on the terrace by the pool with stunning views and the light sounds of nature. Browns Bar is a delightful spot for an afternoon tea or pre and post dinner drinks where you can enjoy board games, daily newspapers or simply sip your favourite drink and enjoy the music.

LEISURE FACILITIES & SPA

If it is exercise you need why not join the weekly bootcamp classes that take place within the Hotel's beautiful gardens or a game of tennis? The Cycling Centre at Reads offers a range of bikes from professional to hybrid or mountain bikes, the area is pefect for cyclists of all levels and the hotel will provide maps and guides, the hire of hybrid or mountain bikes are free for hotel guests.  For a serious workout visit the gym, but if all that sounds too much there is a weekly Yoga class or simply lounge by the pool, a quiet corner or on any of the beautiful terraces with breathtaking views of the Tramuntana mountains.

For some serious pampering Reads have the Vespasian Spa. At over 650 m² the spa offers an extensive range of treatments using ESPA and their own range of blended aromotherapy oils. The facilities here include a heated indoor pool with hydrotherapy jets, 3 treatment rooms, a couples treatment suite, sensation shower, 3 thermal cabins and ice cave.
