The Illa d’Or Hotel first opened in 1929 and still maintains the traditional classical style with great charm that is hugely popular with British clientele.

Situated in a peaceful area of Puerto Pollensa guests can really relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of the backdrop of pine trees against the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. A 15 minute stroll along the promenade takes you to the centre of Puerto Pollensa where a selection of restaurants, bars and shops will tempt.

ACCOMMODATION

The hotel has 120 comfortable rooms including standard rooms with twin or double beds, some with a balcony, we prefer the superior rooms which have better views and are sea facing or side seaview. Some have a terrace or balcony. All of the spacious suites have seaviews, balcony, separate lounge and in the bathrooms you will find a separate walk-in shower.

All rooms offer heating/air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar, bathrobes, hairdryer, free safe and room service.

We are pleased to offer the Illa d’Or Club modern apartments to our guests that would prefer a self-catering experience with all the facilities of an hotel. These are located across the street from the main hotel and include three studios and 21 larger one bedroom apartments that can sleep up to four guests.

All are equipped with a small kitchenette, bathroom, a balcony and daily cleaning service. They have a separate pool with sunbeds, umbrellas and towels free of charge. Breakfast or half board can be enjoyed at the hotel if you prefer.

DINING

Start the day with a varied buffet breakfast including a selection of Mallorcan products and a dietary corner. Lunch is served à la carte on the waters edge (subject to weather conditions) and dinner offers a broad selection of dishes waiter served. Alfresco dining is offered in the summer months at the gourmet restaurant La Terrassa and afternoon tea is also available. The hotel bar serves snacks and cocktails and has live entertainment several times a week.

LEISURE FACILITIES & SPA

While away the days relaxing by the outdoor pool on a sunbed or along the water’s edge. Perhaps for the more energetic a game of tennis, a visit to the gym or maybe a Jacuzzi or sauna? The hotel can also organise bicycle or boat hire as well as book a tee-off time at two nearby golf courses. Wi-fi is free throughout the hotel.

The Vital Illa d’Or Health and Beauty Centre is where you can enjoy the latest treatments to harmonise body, mind and spirit. A selection of treatments on offer are reflexology, pedicures, manicures and facials. There is also an indoor heated pool as well as a Jacuzzi and sauna in the spa area.
