Lovely apartments in Playa de Los Cancajos

Hacienda San Jorge is a lovely, traditional, family owned property only 50m from the black sand beach of Playa de Los Cancajos, which is a comparatively small resort but has all the amenities you may need. The islands capital is only 4kms away and guests here would not need a hire car unless they wish to explore the island independently.

With 155 apartments in four buildings set in lush subtropical gardens this property has a friendly, welcoming ambience. The apartments are well equipped with a twin bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, and a kitchen area that has ceramic hob, microwave and fridge. There is also a TV, bathrobes, hairdryer and balcony or terrace. Views vary due to the design of the property and are mostly garden or pool view though some have a side or full sea view. Some apartments also interconnect and only 2 have two bedrooms.

You don’t have to cook

Hacienda San Jorge does not have to be self catering, there is the option to book breakfast or half board both of which are buffet with show cooking and are served in the restaurant which has views to the sea or pool.

Additional facilities include a large saltwater swimming pool (unheated), extensive sunbathing terraces with sunbeds and umbrellas and pool towels are available at reception. There is a sauna and steam bath, massages can be booked at reception and the free gym is for the more energetic. The reception area has free Wi-fi connection or a computer for internet access.

Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby

The Orquidea bar is open in the evening for pre or post dinner drinks and entertainment is laid on 3 or 4 nights a week. A mini market open six days a week has the daily essentials or the resort has a good selection of shops and restaurants.

A weekly guided tour of the gardens is available for guests.
