A classic Parador that will charm

This Parador is set in very pretty extensive gardens on a cliff top some 250 feet above the little town of San Sebastian, the island’s ‘capital’, with views over the sea to Tenerife.

This lovely air-conditioned property is for those who seek style and good service in a Parador of great character. Visually the hotel is quite lovely with a strongly traditional flavour.

ACCOMMODATION

With just 54 twin rooms, four double bedded and two junior suites, guests here are treated as individuals, and because the gardens and the pool terraces are large, one never feels crowded. The neat and elegant bedrooms all have private bathroom, satellite TV, free safe, hairdryer and mini-bar.

The standard rooms have mostly garden views, some with terrace some without, four overlook a courtyard garden and have a balcony. We can request your preference in this category. The superior rooms have balcony and seaviews. A bottle of wine will be in your room with our compliments.

DINING

The restaurant is charming and also has tables in a conservatory style area. Breakfast is buffet with hot and cold dishes and dinner is waiter served from a menu that can include some local dishes.

There are lounge areas with period furniture, a small library and space to relax with an after dinner drink. The bar also has a small courtyard perhaps for morning coffee or afternoon tea.

The swimming pool (not heated) overlooks the sea and is surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas with a snack bar for lunch and refreshments.
