This is a beautiful hotel which opened in 2008

We rate the Park as four star plus. It is in a magnificent position right on the waterfront with only a stone paved promenade separating the hotel from the long white pebble beach where there are ample watersports. From April to October, locals set up little stalls on the promenade selling everything from local lavender oils to home made brandies and lace goods.

The Park is a perfect hotel for friends and couples looking for a stylish boutique hotel. A public children’s playground is around five minutes walk along the waterfront in the direction of the centre of Makarska which, itself is just a pleasant ten minute walk.

ROOMS

79 spacious, air-conditioned rooms with balconies, decorated in cool blue, lime green and other light colours. There is particular attention to detail, high quality furnishings and fabrics are used and works of art produced by students from the local art academy adorn the walls. Hairdryer, mini-bar, satellite TV, safe and internet access.

LIVING

Buffet and à la carte restaurants. Lobby bar and the beach bar which opens right out on to the seafront promenade and usually operates from mid May.

Outdoor and indoor swimming pools. Due to the position of the outdoor pool, from the surrounding sun terrace, you have a feeling of almost being on top of the beach itself. Fashion and souvenir shop.

The Health and Beauty Centre has a gym, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, gym, massage and beauty treatments.
