Under the same ownership as the Hotel Milenij

Voted best four star superior hotel in Croatia in 2011 (2012 results not known when this brochure went to print) and under the same ownership as the Hotel Milenij, the Grand is centrally located and comprises four separate pastel coloured buildings each named after a local flower. All our rooms are located in Villa Camelia, the main building which is right on the seafront. There is usually an additional charge for main building rooms but this does not apply for our guests. A very stylish hotel with an open plan lobby and buzzing café-bar.

ROOMS

228 spacious, air-conditioned twin, double and single rooms with bath, shower, hairdryer, mini-bar, satellite TV and safe. Most rooms have a balcony (on request) and some have a seaview.

LIVING

The Camelia restaurant serves both buffet and à la carte meals featuring many local specialities with frequent show cooking displays. The bar has wonderful views over the Kvarner bay and is a great spot for a cocktail. Fruit basket in room on arrival.

The Romanesque Spa and Wellness Centre has a beautiful indoor pool with a retractable roof that enables it to be partly outside. A gym, several types of sauna and Turkish bath and a wide range of massage and beauty treatments.

Nearest beaches are under five minutes walk and there is a mix of stone and pebble. Direct access onto the Lungo Mare seafront promenade and an easy walk into the centre of Opatija or to the fishing village of Volosko in the other direction.

There is a free morning shuttle bus to the long Medveja beach from Hemingway Bar, two minutes walk from the hotel with several afternoon return departures. A much sought-after hotel and a favourite with our clients.

Transfer time from Rijeka airport – approx. 50 minutes. Also available from Zagreb and Pula airports.
