LIVING

This is a large hotel and yet there is always a feeling of space. Four restaurants including the main Salin restaurant with a wonderful outdoor terrace together with Sensus fine dining restaurant, Satu Japanese restaurant and Sushi bar and the Prora beach restaurant with tables on the beach terrace or in pretty stone alcoves. The Abakus piano bar is the perfect place for a drink and guests sit for hours on the outdoor terrace enjoying a cocktail and watching the light change over the old city.

The private beach is reached via a tunnel and step ladders allow entry to the sea (which is deep). High quality sun loungers and waiter service at the beach. The indoor heated swimming pool is huge and there is also a small children’s pool, Jacuzzis, a gym and in the same area, the Comfort Zone spa offering a wide range of treatments. Several designer boutiques and gift shops.

Most of the interior is the work of designer Renata Strok who has achieved the perfect blend of contemporary design with comfort and local materials. Driftwood and tiles often make a welcome appearance.
