This is a beautiful 4 star hotel
In our opinion, it wouldn’t take much for it to become a five star property. Set in gardens full of wild rosemary within a pine forest, the location is wonderful and it is just 50 metres from the sea. A pathway made from Brac white stone leads to the famous Zlatni Rat beach one way and into the centre of Bol, a ten minute walk the other way.
Whilst close to the action, the setting is calm and relaxing. The hotel was beautifully redesigned and renovated in 2006 with a stylish, slightly funky feel.
ROOMS
306 rooms, all air-conditioned with bath, safe, mini-bar, satellite TV, hairdryer, internet connection and safe. Decoration is in cool colours and views are mostly onto the pine forest, sometimes with partial seaviews.
LIVING
One main buffet restaurant plus a Dalmatian style tavern and the fabulous beach restaurant Borak which often has live music in high season and is the perfect romantic spot with many tables just a few metres away from the sea. The main hotel bar is contemporary, decorated in bright colours and the Bolero cocktail bar on an outdoor patio at the bottom of the gardens is all chill out music, rattan furniture and a great cocktail list.
Watersports and the dive centre are close by and the hotel has its own bowling alley and nightclub. There’s a large tennis centre behind the hotel. Internet café and a couple of small shops nearby. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools plus a paddling pool for children and children’s mini-club and playground.
The Thalasso Wellness centre would not be out of place in any five star hotel. Covering 4,000 square metres, there’s a wide range of treatments featuring international and Croatian brands together with wild herbs gathered on this part of the island. A key feature in treatments is the use of sea algae, sea mud, sand and the island’s wine and olive oils.
Transfer time from Split airport – approx. 2½ – 3 hours including ferry crossing.
