Every room has a balcony or terrace and are seafacing with views to Funchal Bay or the gardens. There are four different twin room categories: Charming rooms are smaller rooms on higher floors: Classic rooms in the main building or garden wing, Superior and Deluxe rooms in the main building or garden wing which are slightly larger and have better views. Naturally sumptuous Suites are also available.

DINING

The restaurants include the Garden Room for buffet breakfast and the Pool restaurant for light snacks and buffet lunch. For dinner half board guests can choose à la carte in The Dining Room (gentlemen are kindly requested to wear a jacket and tie, children no trainers or jeans), with a weekly Champagne gala buffet and a gala dinner dance included.

Guests can also choose the informal Villa Cipriani within the grounds which serves Italian specialities for à la carte dinner, or Les Faunes (open during the winter) with great views over Funchal. During the summer why not try Brisa do Mar for à la carte creative French cuisine under the stars. All serve cuisine of international standard and Reid’s culinary expertise should delight even the most discerning gourmet.

FAMILIES

“Fun at Reid’s” is a children’s club with a pool and extensive programme of supervised activities for children from three to nine years. Teenagers can have a great time too with console and computer games in their own space, for children from ten years old.
