All 163 guest rooms including 35 suites have cable TV/video or DVD, safe, mini-bar with complimentary soft drinks and water, air-conditioning, all have balcony or terrace and are seafacing with views to Funchal Bay or the gardens. There are three different twin room categories: renovated Classic rooms in the main building, Superior and Premier rooms in the main building or in the garden wing which are slightly larger and have better views, many also renovated. Sumptuous Suites naturally are also available.

The restaurants include the Garden Room for buffet breakfast and the poolside buffet for lunch. The formal Dining Room is à la carte, here half board guests can choose their daily menu, in the evening gentlemen are kindly requested to wear a jacket and tie (children - no trainers or jeans). The informal Villa Cipriani within the grounds serves Italian specialities for à la carte dinner (not for half board). For even greater choice the smart casual Brisa do Mar serves an a la carte menu of creative french cuisine under the stars. All serve cuisine of international standard and Reid's culinary expertise should delight even the most discerning gourmet.  Gala dinners on 24, 25, 28 and 31 Dec are included in our prices. The Dining Room and the renovated Cocktail Bar have live music every evening.

A wide range of leisure facilities are offered including sauna and steam room, aerobics, a new gym, two tennis courts, table tennis, two delightful redesigned heated swimming pools on the garden level, one with seawater and one with freshwater. There is also an unheated pool by the sea with bathing terraces. Other amenities include a bridge room and a billiard room.
