Rooms, apartments and suites set in mature, peaceful gardens in Caniço

Quinta Splendida has undergone a complete transformation in recent years with many new facilities, including a Spa and some fabulous Spa Suites added to complement the hotel. Set in mature and peaceful botanical gardens there are over 1000 tropical plants – many labelled to provide enormous interest to enthusiasts.

DINING

The 19th century Manor House, where the gourmet à la carte restaurant La Perla is located, overlooks the botanical garden and here guests can enjoy the hotel’s own organically grown produce.

The contemporary buffet and à la carte restaurant, Galeria, serves a generous buffet for both breakfast and dinner with a themed dinner once a week. Mediterranean, Italian, Asian and Oriental cuisine in the Thai Lounge. Half board guests may dine at La Perla or the Thai Lounge and receive a discount.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation, many of which has been refurbished, is available in low rise buildings around the gardens: studios with balcony or terrace and kitchenette: the more traditionally furnished apartments with a separate bedroom, balcony or terrace and kitchenette, have a side seaview. Ground floor studios and apartments have direct access to the gardens. Each room type has satellite TV, hairdryer and a safe (small charge).

The Spa Suites, generous in size with a king size bed, are open plan and have uninterrupted direct seaviews from the terrace. They have Plasma TV, DVD, free safe, a PC with free internet and free access to the Quinta Splendida Spa facilities. Spa suite guests on half board can have dinner in any of the hotel restaurants.

LEISURE FACILITIES & SPA

At the heart of the Quinta is the heated freshwater swimming pool with sun terraces, the pool snack bar, the Siddhartha bar, with free Wi-fi and the modern Globe bar open some evenings, all with fantastic views. The fitness centre is close by with a basic gym, a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, as well as a games room and a putting green near La Perla, all free.

The Quinta Splendida has a fabulous Spa with an indoor treatment pool, ten treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, ice igloo and an extensive menu of facial and body treatments including Thai and Balinese massage. We have the details, please do ask.

Caniço is some 100 metres away with a full range of shops and restaurants.
