A lovely hotel in the style of a Canarian Village

Gran Melia Volcan Lanzarote has been designed as a typical Canarian fishing village. As you stroll around you will come across small squares and secluded corners to relax and enjoy a book. The hotel even has an exact replica of the old Teguise church which is used as the entrance to the hotel.

The 255 rooms are located in 20 typical low rise houses. These very spacious twin rooms have a small lounge area and have views across to Fuerteventura or Papagayo Beach, the pool, marina or general seaviews. The larger junior suites and one bedroom suites with a separate living room also have a walk-in shower and bath with a hydro massage.

All accommodation has a free safe, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, mini bar, satellite TV, air-conditioning, tea/ coffee making facilities and all rooms have a balcony or terrace. A Royal Service

For added luxury and privacy the hotel now offers a Royal Service in 49 of the best seaview room types. Pools and nearby beaches

Gran Melia Volcan is close to the beaches of Playa Blanca or 3 kms from the famous Papagayo beaches. Within the hotel’s extensive pool area are four pools, one heatable, one with an artificial beach, a quieter pool for relaxation and a separate children’s pool all with sunbathing terraces. Dining is a pleasure at Gran Melia Volcan, starting with a hearty breakfast in ‘La Florida’ the main buffet restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking the main pool. Guests on half board can enjoy international cuisine with themed buffets and show cooking for dinner. The Gala dinner on 31 Dec is included in our prices. There are four à la carte restaurants to tempt, the Kazan Japanese restaurant with fabulous views of the Marina and Playa Blanca. ‘Restaurant Rubicon’ offers Italian cuisine or the Spanish ‘Yaiza’ offering Tapas for lunch and ‘La Geria’ for elegant dining complete the choice.
