A lovely hotel in the style of a Canarian Village

Gran Melia Volcan Lanzarote has been designed as a typical Canarian fishing village. As you stroll around you will come across cosy piazzas and secluded corners to relax and enjoy a book. The hotel even has an exact replica of the old Teguise church which is used as the entrance to the hotel.

The 255 rooms are located in 20 typical low rise houses. The very spacious twin rooms have a small lounge area and have views across to Fuerteventura and Papagayo Beaches, the pool, marina or general seaviews. The larger junior suites and one bedroom suites with a separate living room also have a walk-in shower and bath with hydro massage.

All accommodation has a free safe, hairdryer, mini-bar, satellite TV, air-conditioning and a balcony or terrace. Some rooms interconnect, ideal for families. The hotel offers a free children’s club for 5-12 year olds, please ask for details and dates of operation.

A Royal Service

For added luxury and privacy the hotel offers a Royal Service in 49 of the best seaview rooms in all categories. This includes a butler service, pillow and sheets menu and hi-fi in the rooms. Pools and nearby beaches

Gran Melia Volcan is close to the beaches of Playa Blanca or 3 kms from the famous Papagayo beaches. Within the hotel’s extensive pool area are four pools, one heatable, one with an artificial beach, a quieter pool for relaxation and a separate children’s pool all with sunbathing terraces. Dining is a pleasure at Gran Melia Volcan, starting with a hearty breakfast in ‘La Florida’ the main buffet restaurant with a lovely terrace. Guests on half board can enjoy international cuisine with themed buffets and show cooking. The Gala dinner on 31 Dec is included in our prices. A choice of a la carte restaurants,  the Kazan Japanese restaurant with fabulous views of the Marina and a Spanish ‘Yaiza’ a la carte for lunch. The Italian and gourmet restaurants for elegant dining are located at the Marina Rubicon.
