Ayurvedic Massage
Having always wanted to try an Ayurvedic treatment we encouraged our MD to do so at the Kempinski San Lawrenz Hotel in Gozo. Ayervedic Therapy is an ancient medicine based on the healing of the body and mind. It originates from the Indian Sub-Continent and is good for many ailments and detoxification or just relation. There are many different treatments within Ayurveda and several of our hotel spas have specialists in these therapies.
Our MD, after a consultation, had a full body Ayurvedic massage, this treatment used lots of herb infused oils and was a firm massage, fromhead to toe.
" I was thrilled to be able to finally try Ayurvedic and came away feeling extremely relaxed, calm and at peace, yet at the same time I felt alive and refreshed. I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a massage..."

Wine Baths
Cleopatra bathed in Milk, but you can now bath in wine! Generally wine extracts are used combined with essential oils and the red is reputed to improve circulation, and both the red and the white are supposed to leave your skin feeling lovely. We personally haven’t actually tried this one but guests of Prestige Holidays have and loved it. The thought alone amuses the wine lover.
Pool Circuit for something different
Le Meridien Limassol, Cyprus offers pool circuit therapy. Each pool has a different level of salination and temperature, you literally float in these pools. Our marketing manager Nicky tried this.
" I did a three pool circuit followed by the main pool which is more an exercise pool where you swim against the current, it was both relaxing and stimulating and a completely different experience to a normal spa treatment. I followed this with a body wrap and felt completely rejuvenated after this experience..."
Nicky, Marketing Manager Prestige Holidays
This hotel spa has won many awards particularly for the pool circuit therapy and the other lovely option is that they have the pool inside for cooler months and in the summer they are outside next to the sea shore.
