Recently renovated Amathus Beach is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and Leading Spas and is known for good service and successful holidays.

ACCOMMODATION

All the delightful bedrooms have satellite TV, free Wi-fi, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar, safe, bathrobes, slippers and hairdryer. Inland rooms are larger with a sitting area but do not have a balcony whereas Seaview rooms do have a balcony looking across the gardens to the
sea. Superior rooms have been renovated with a contemporary design and have either an inland or a seaview. Seaview Junior Suites have a sitting area and can take three adults or two adults and two children comfortably. Nine ground floor Junior Suites also have Jacuzzi plunge pools. Executive Suites and a Presidential Suite with separate sitting room and seaviews are also available.

DINING

The new Cyan restaurant offers buffet or fine table d’hôte cuisine, usually with a live band in the evening for dancing. Buffet breakfast, lunch and all day snacks are offered in the lovely Kalypso restaurant – children’s menus available. Other restaurants within the hotel are available including the à la carte Asiachi restaurant, the new La Terrazza themed buffet alfresco restaurant or the Limanaki fish tavern (some seasonal). Half board guests can eat either buffet or from the table d’hôte menu, an allowance is given in the à la carte restaurants.
The Amathus offers a choice of bars from poolside to the NuBar, a cosy cocktail bar with a terrace.

LEISURE FACILITIES & SPA

In the 200 metres of beach and landscaped lawns there are two large pools and a paddling pool for children. There is also a spectacular 20 metre indoor pool opening on to the gardens. Two floodlit tennis courts and table tennis are there to test skills. The Amathus Beach also has a hairdresser, boutiques and a well-stocked general shop.

The beautiful new Amathus Spa & Wellness Centre is impressive and offers 11 treatment rooms, ranging from Asian suites for Thai massage to a romantic bath for couples, mens treatment rooms and a relaxing Garden of Senses. There is also a new gym, pilates, yoga and aerobic classes, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath are all free for guests.

The children’s “Pelican’s Kids Club” operates during school holidays and is for children from four to twelve years. To keep the older ones happy there is also a Teens Club.

The Guest Relations Desk will have full details of the hotel’s varied social and cultural activities. These include a guided visit to the Ancient City of Amathus, a winery visit, wine tasting, theme buffet nights and much more.
