Just in front of the Fañabe Beach next to the promenade, the Iberostar Grand Hotel Anthelia has recently undergone a complete renovation. The hotel is set in 60,000 metres of gardens, creating a feeling of spaciousness.

The 390 rooms are located within the gardens in 6 buildings. Rooms are spacious and have a light and airy décor. Double rooms have either a garden, side seaview or seaview whilst the larger Executive rooms have a double aspect with a bay window and side seaview or seaviews.

Duplex Suites offer the best seaviews and are on two floors, with a lounge and bathroom downstairs and the bedroom and second bathroom upstairs – perfect for families. All rooms have a free safe, air-conditioning, mini-bar, free Wi-fi, satellite TV, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and a balcony.

For the ultimate privacy and seclusion the hotel have a separate building on the beachfront offering only seaview Superior Suites for adults only. All the one bedroom Suites have a separate lounge and a large bedroom with the added benefit of a DVD player and a hydro-massage bath. The Suites also offer guests a butler service, daily newspaper, heated pool, restaurant with breakfast terrace, afternoon tea and private bar. Guests in the Suites have direct access to the promenade and daily access to the hotel spa.

Dining is a pleasure at the Grand Hotel Anthelia. The main half board buffet restaurant is for buffet breakfast and an impressive buffet for dinner with a large terrace for alfresco dining. The resort also offers three à la carte restaurants, the gourmet restaurant Poseidon or the Italian restaurant Portofino, tboth open for dinner or the Beach Club Barbacoa open for lunch. Half board guests receive a credit in the à la carte restaurants or have a 3 course menu without supplement. Guests staying in the Superior Suites on half board can dine in any of the restaurants without supplement. An after dinner drink can be enjoyed in one of the hotel bars and entertainment is provided most evenings.

Within the gardens you will find four pools (two heated), 2 children’s pools (one heated), sun terraces with free sun loungers and umbrellas (payable on nearby beaches).
