The Don Carlos Resort is situated 12 km from the centre of Marbella and is set amid a large subtropical garden on Marbella’s finest beach.

The Hotel consists of 1 main central building, 14 storey’s high and two wings of four and three floors.Once inside this lovely hotel the contemporary design and large airy spaces create a feeling of comfort and good living.

There are 236 standard rooms (photo above) that have views to the mountains, gardens or sea. The standard rooms located in the wings do not have a balcony, whilst the rooms in the main building all have a balcony, the higher floors have the best sea views and children should be supervised at all times. Guest rooms are equipped with Wi fi, free safe, air-conditioning, satelliteTV, CD player, hairdryer, mini-bar, bathrobes and slippers.

The fabulous Deluxe Villas have an exclusive area with private check in , butler service, swimming pool and one small car for guest use (on request and petrol and  insurance supplements payable locally). The 1 bedroom villas are on the ground floor and have a lounge, terrace and a full kitchen, while the 2 bedroom villas are duplex and have a lounge, two bathrooms, two terraces and full kitchen.

There is a large outdoor swimming pool, a children’s pool, play area and childrens club (open daily) within the grounds. The beach club (entrance fee payable), situated next to the exclusive Nikki Beach has a swimming pool, sunbeds, umbrellas and bar service. On the beach watersports are available. Sunbeds, umbrellas and towel service are free for guests use.

The resort has several restaurants and bars spread throughout the complex. Breakfast is a varied buffet at Bahia, the pool side Sol Y Sombra is the ideal spot to enjoy a light lunch or snack. For dinner enjoy the creative fine cuisine at Ombu, located in the tropical gardens.

The Marco Tennis Academy with 10 courts, gym, the Don Carlos Spa for health and beauty treatments, together with a hairdresser, boutique and newsagents complete the facilities on offer.
