Spacious Deluxe hotel on the waters edge in Elounda

The Elounda Bay Palace is a very comfortable hotel standing in some 20 acres of gardens, with its own sandy beaches in a protected cove. The village of Elounda is just over one kilometre away and offers good shopping and eating.

All guest accommodation is decorated in a mixture of modern and Cretan style with air-conditioning, marble bathroom, satellite TV with music channels, mini-bar and balcony or terrace. Hairdryers, safe, bathrobes, slippers and room service are all very useful additional facilities.

There are 19 room types to choose from, some of them with a built-in bed, ranging from superior garden, side seaview or seaview  through to deluxe bungalows, luxury suites and villas. There are bungalows with a shared pool and others nearer the water. Some villas have private pools. Some categories are more suitable for families, please ask our advice on these and all room types.

Two sandy beaches, three pools and water sports

The Elounda Bay Palace has a very spacious interior with comfortable lounges and terraces looking to the sea and two sandy beaches. There are three swimming pools, one indoor freshwater and heated, one outdoor seawater and one freshwater for children, very welcoming after a game of tennis (charged) or table tennis (free). Watersports include a scuba diving centre, windsurfing, jet-ski, pedaloes, canoes and more. Sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels are free.

The ‘inner’ guest is well catered for too! The Elounda Bay Palace has three bars, the Erato piano bar, a beach bar and a pool bar. The Aretoussa is the main restaurant offering buffet service for breakfast, lunch or dinner. As an alternative try the Ariadne for à la carte lunch and speciality evenings and theme nights. The seafood à la carte restaurant Thalassa is available for dinner, or try the exciting new ‘F’ mediterranean restaurant.

A children’s programme six days a week

The supervised children’s programme (4-12 year olds) operates six days a week, offering beach games, videos, mini-golf, stone painting and more. Please ask us for details.

Safety deposit boxes are also provided at reception at no cost for extra security. Shops, fitness centre, massage and hairdresser too.
