This well located hotel is good value and has some unique features. The most enchanting is that from many of the rooms in the main building you have direct access from your balcony to one of the seawater swimming pools.

The luxury of just stepping off your balcony to cool down in a pool is excellent. The main freshwater pool, with children’s paddling pool, near the private sandy beach, the private golf course, Children’s Ark and Six Senses Spa complete the excellent facilities.

ACCOMMODATION

As well as the deluxe pool access rooms which have a seaview, there are deluxe twins with seaview, one or two bedroom suites, with shared or private pool and deluxe rooms with a section of a shared pool.

All of the attractively furnished Cretan style rooms have seaview, air-conditioning, satellite TV, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, mini-bar, DVD player, safe, internet connection and fully fitted marble bathrooms.

Porto elounda also offers two or three bedroom villas with a private pool in the garden, perfect for larger families

DINING

The main building has been cleverly designed to allow maximum light and space in the public areas. This is where you will find the Nafsika restaurant which serves buffet breakfast and half board dinner and a children’s dining room close by. The terrace here is alongside one of the long pools. Also in this area of the hotel is a lobby bar and lounge with music. On the water’s edge the Odysseus Taverna (high season) is open for lunch, for dinner there is the à la carte restaurant “Elies” (high season) under olive trees near the beach.

For more choice from May - mid Oct the hotel offers a Dine Around option including three, three course dinners in the à la carte restaurants of elounda mare hotel, porto elounda and elounda peninsula hotel at a supplement.

All of the restaurants of porto elounda offer a children’s menu to keep the little ones happy at meals times. There are numerous bars to tempt you before and after dinner with breathtaking views of course.

LEISURE & FAMILY TIME...

LEISURE FACILITIES

The private beach, where snacks and drinks are served at the beach bar, May - Oct, has free towels, sunbeds and sunshades and is a lovely spot to relax. But for the more sporty guest porto elounda offers tennis, table tennis and a games room.

For the watersports enthusiast there is scuba diving, sailing, waterskiing and windsurfing. The hotel also offers a heated freshwater indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and fitness room (all free of charge).

The Playiada shopping square has boutiques, jewellers, souvenirs, the pro shop and the chapel.

GOLF

For golfers this hotel is ideal as it has a private par three, nine hole course, handicap 54 required. A resident English speaking pro is on hand. Club rental, a fully stocked pro shop and putting green are available

SPA

Last but not least the spectacular Six Senses Spa for a truly relaxing and revitalising experience with Thalossotherapy pool, thermal suite, Ottoman Hammam and hairdresser. Please ask for details of the pre-bookable treatments.

FAMILIES

For children six months - four years there is the excellent children’s Ark with crèche - open six days a week and payable locally and the complimentary Children’s Park kids club for five to twelve year olds.
