A lovely hotel on the waters edge near Aghios Nicolaos

The pretty port of Aghios Nicolaos is just under 2 kms away, about €5 by taxi. The emphasis here is on calm peaceful relaxation in a delightful setting with good service.

Guests are offered a choice of 107 recently renovated and tastefully decorated sea view bungalow style rooms on ground or first floors with private marble bathroom, air-conditioning, mini-bar, free safe, satellite TV with video and music channels, hairdryer, slippers, beach towels and balcony or terrace. The elegant junior suites and suites have a jacuzzi bath, a sitting room and all have spacious balcony or terrace with seaview. For added enjoyment and privacy some junior suites and suites also have a private seawater pool (heated in cooler months) with superb direct seaviews. Private sandy beach, water sports and a children’s club

The St Nicolas Bay is a deluxe category hotel and has a delightful private sandy cove and secluded sunbathing terraces at the water’s edge. Within the gardens there are 2 seawater pools and a separate paddling pool for children.

A fully equipped gym, sunbeds, umbrellas, beach towels, table tennis and PlayStation and cinema are provided at no cost. The Children’s Club (4-12 years) is available from May to September. Discounts for children sharing parents’ room or in a separate room are offered.

The Water Sports Centre offers a real choice of activities including water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, pedaloes, canoes and scuba diving school. The St Nicolas Bay also organises weekly open air theme evenings with live music in high season. Amongst the many services this hotel offers there are 2 cocktail bars, a TV room, art gallery, shop and kiosk.

The Spa has a good range of treatments and an indoor pool

At the pleasantly informal “Poseidon Spa by Elemis” spa guests can enjoy a heated (in cooler months) indoor fresh water pool, plus jet-shower, sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi. Aromatherapy, reflexology, hydrotherapy plus wellness and Elemis beauty treatments by highly trained staff are all at a charge, we recommend pre-booking treatments.

In addition to the Blue Bay beach bar and restaurant for alfresco lunch, the Club House restaurant offers American style buffet breakfast and The Labyrinthos serves table d’hôte buffet dinner, child menus and menu choices from the open kitchen. Half board can be booked for all or part of your stay.

The à la carte Minotaure Mediterranean Gourmet restaurant and traditional Greek Kafenion by the sea, for local dishes and seafood, are available and half board guests will get a credit here. A room service menu is available.  Some restaurants and bars may close in May and October, subject to weather conditions.

Double Front Seaview.

In addition to the main facilities these rooms have a front seaview, bathroom and separate WC.

Family Room Garden View.

These are either duplex style or on the ground floor and have 1 bedroom and a separate sitting room with 2 beds for children (up to 12 years).

Deluxe Junior Suite Front Seaview

These Deluxe Junior Suites are a little larger and have a more spacious balcony or terrace. A CD player, video player, bathrobes, a jacuzzi bath, plus ISDN access to the internet.

Deluxe Suites Front Seaview

These Deluxe Suites have a separate sitting room, large balcony or terrace. Jacuzzi bath, DVD player, bathrobes and internet access line.

Exclusive Junior Suite with Private Pool Front Seaview

These spacious rooms offer an open plan bedroom and sitting area and greater privacy. Set on the 1st row to the sea they have a private pool and terrace with good sea views plus sunloungers and umbrellas. A jacuzzi bath, DVD player and internet lines add to guest comfort.

Executive Suites with Private Pool Front Seaview.

Also on the 1st row to the sea these Executive Suites have a spacious sitting room and separate bedroom plus a private pool with terrace, sun-loungers and umbrellas offering privacy and space and excellent sea views. Additional facilities are the same as the Exclusive Junior Suite with Private Pool but the emphasis here is location and space.
