A lovely hotel on the waters edge near Aghios Nicolaos

This delightful hotel stands in six acres of lovely gardens. The St Nicolas Bay is perfectly situated on a rocky headland with the sea on three sides. The pretty port of Aghios Nicolaos is just under 2 kms away, about €6 by taxi. ACCOMMODATION

Guests are offered a choice of 107 renovated and tastefully decorated seaview bungalow style rooms on ground or first floors with marble bathroom, air-conditioning, mini-bar, free safe, satellite TV with video and music channels, Wi-fi, hairdryer, slippers and balcony or terrace. The elegant junior suites and suites have a Jacuzzi bath, a sitting room and all have spacious balcony or terrace with seaview. ROOMS, SUITES AND THALASSA VILLAS

Here we offer more detail on the different room types available at the St Nicolas Bay, all are bungalow style on ground or upper floors.

Double Seaview - In addition to the main facilities the rooms have twin or double beds, slippers and bathroom.

Family Suite Garden View - These are on the ground floor and have one bedroom and a separate sitting room with two beds for children (up to 12 years).

Deluxe Junior Suite Seaview - These Junior Suites are a little larger and have a more spacious balcony or terrace. Jacuzzi bath, DVD player, bathrobes and some with a separate shower.

Deluxe Suite Seaview - These have a separate sitting room, large balcony or terrace. Jacuzzi
bath, DVD player, bathrobes and a separate shower.

Executive Junior Suite with Private Pool Seaview - These spacious rooms offer an open plan bedroom and sitting area. Set on the first row to the sea they have a private pool and terrace with sunloungers and umbrellas. A Jacuzzi bath, separate shower, bathrobes and DVD player add to guest comfort.

Executive Suite with Private Pool Seaview - Also on the first row to the sea these have a spacious sitting room and separate bedroom, a private pool with terrace, sunloungers and umbrellas offering privacy and space and excellent seaviews.

Additional facilities are the same as the Executive Junior Suite with private pool but the emphasis here is location and space. Two bedroomed Executive Suites with private pool, are also available.

Thalassa Villas

Located in the surrounding area a short walking distance - less than 500m from the hotels amenities, these self contained air-conditioned villas, with three or four bedrooms, overlook the sea with access to the water via steps. Each has a master bedroom with en-suite facilities
and two or three other bedrooms with a shared bathroom. One of the bedrooms is a single with space for a cot. Each villa has a seawater pool, sunbeds and a large terrace, satellite TV, DVD and Wi-fi. The kitchen is fully equipped and is open plan style with the dining/sitting area and has a balcony with glorious Mirabello Bay views – perfect to enjoy the sunset. A continental breakfast can be arranged in your villa or buffet breakfast can be taken at the hotel. A chef and butler service can be arranged at a supplement. LEISURE FACILITIES & SPA

The St Nicolas Bay has a delightful private sandy cove and secluded sunbathing terraces at the water’s edge. Within the gardens there are two seawater pools and a separate paddling pool for children.

At the pleasantly informal “Poseidon Spa by Elemis” spa guests can enjoy a heated (in cooler months) indoor fresh water pool, plus jetshower, sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi. Aromatherapy, reflexology, hydrotherapy plus wellness and Elemis beauty treatments by highly trained staff are all at a charge, we recommend pre-booking treatments. A fully equipped gym, sunbeds, umbrellas, beach towels, table tennis, PlayStation and cinema are provided at no cost. Children’s Club (four to twelve years) available from May to September.

The Water Sports Centre offers a real choice of activities including waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, pedaloes, canoes and scuba diving school. The St Nicolas Bay also organises weekly open air theme evenings with live music in high season.

DINING

In addition to the Blue Bay beach bar and restaurant for lunch the Club House restaurant offers American style buffet breakfast and the Labyrinthos serves table d’hôte buffet dinner, child menus and menu choices from the open kitchen. Half board can be booked for all or part of your stay.

The à la carte Minotaure Mediterranean Gourmet restaurant and traditional Greek Kafenion by the sea, for local dishes and seafood are available and half board guests will get a credit here (not applicable to free half board offer). All restaurants offer a terrace for alfresco dining. A room service menu is available.
