A super hotel on a delightful island

Set on a cliff top the Jardin Tecina is cleverly laid out in beautiful gardens. Although it has 434 rooms it still retains an intimate atmosphere as the rooms are in low level buildings. The large grounds have over 50 species of plants and the hotel offers a weekly guided tour for guests to enjoy.

ACCOMMODATION

There are five types of accommodation, Standard with garden or pool view, Comfort rooms with side seaview and Superior rooms have a direct seaview. All have a terrace or balcony. Junior Suites have a separate sitting area and large terrace or balcony. The Family Duplex (two floors) are grouped together around their own heatable swimming pool and have a sitting room, balcony and terrace and can take a family of four. All rooms in the hotel have satellite TV, safe (small charge), air-conditioning, mini-bar and hairdryer. Room service is available. A bottle of wine and fruit in rooms on arrival with our compliments. An alternative family option is two connecting rooms, please ask for a price.

DINING

There is a good choice of bars and restaurants, including excellent value half board buffet service in the Principal restaurant or a table d’hôte menu in the BBQ Laurel, or why not dine à la carte during your stay, at the newly refurbished “Restaurante Internacional” offering a selection of table d’hôte menus. Half board guests receive a credit. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers at dinner.

The open air Club Laurel at sea level is accessible by lift and has a sea water pool with a ‘chill out’ area with Balinese beds. There are three climatised freshwater pools and a children’s pool.

For children there is also a playground and a mini-club (four to twelve years), do check with us for dates. Free Wi-fi in the lobby area.

FAMILIES

The kids club for children four to eleven years could include tennis, cookery lessons, guided walks and crafts. Children under 12 years receive complimentary half board and receive 50% discount on full board or All-Inclusive supplements from 1 May 12.

LEISURE FACILITIES

A daily entertainment programme offers a wide variety of amusements, with dancing and regular evening shows, plus occasional village festivals, with lots of music and fun in to the night. Sporty types can enjoy tennis (coaching available), a dive school, squash and table tennis.

The “Buganvilla Health Club” offers a gym (free), sauna, massage and a beauty salon with Wellness facilities, some carry a charge.

If golf is your preference the hotel has an 18 hole golf course (par 71) with a practice tee, chipping green with bunkers, a putting green, golf school pro shop and of course a Club House. We have golf packages available with reduced green fees for hotel guests. We can pre-book tee off times for you too - just ask and we can arrange it all.
