A super hotel on a delightful island

Set on a cliff top, in Playa de Santiago, Jardin Tecina is cleverly laid out in beautiful gardens. Although it has 434 rooms it still retains an intimate atmosphere as the rooms are in low level buildings. The large grounds have over 50 species of plants and the hotel offers a weekly guided tour for guests to enjoy.

There are five types of accommodation, Standard with garden or pool view, Comfort rooms with side seaview and Superior rooms have a direct seaview all with terrace or balcony. Junior suites have a separate sitting area and large terrace or balcony.

Ideal for couples, friends or families

The family duplex (2 floors) are grouped together around their own heatable swimming pool and have a sitting room, balcony and terrace and can take a family of four. All rooms in the hotel have satellite TV, safe (small charge), air-conditioning, mini bar (deposit required) and hairdryer. Room service is available. An alternative family option is two connecting rooms, please ask for a price as this depends on dates and child ages.

There is a wide choice of bars and restaurants, including excellent value half board buffet service in the main restaurant and waiter service in the International restaurant. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers at dinner. A festive buffet meal on 31 December is included in our prices. A Gala dinner is available on 31st December, pre-bookable but payable locally.

The four star Jardin Tecina has three climatised freshwater pools and a children’s pool within the hotel gardens. For children there is also a playground and a mini club (4-12 years), do check with us for dates.

The open air Club Laurel is down at sea level, accessible by lift, it has an additional swimming pool, sea water, and a restaurant for lunch – a delightful spot. There is a privately owned diving school here too.

A daily entertainment and activity programme

A daily entertainment programme offers a wide variety of amusements, with dancing and regular evening shows, plus occasional village festivals, with lots of music and fun in to the night.

An excellent new golf course

The hotel has a fabulous new 18 hole golf course, designed by Donald Steel, with reduced green fees for hotel guests. We can pre-book tee off times for you.

Sporty types can also enjoy tennis (coaching available), paddle tennis, squash and table tennis. The “Buganvilla Health Club” offers a gym (free), sauna, massage and a beauty salon with Wellness facilities, some carry a charge.
