The Sir Anthony has re-opened after a complete renovation, with a more modern contemporary design. Located on a sandy beach a few minutes’ walk from shops, restaurants and banks, the emphasis here is on comfort in a calm and relaxing setting.

ACCOMMODATION

There are just 70 rooms at the Sir Anthony making for a more intimate atmosphere. The new modern bedrooms, all double bedded, are spacious and well appointed. Facilities include a hairdryer, bathrobes, mini-bar, safe, air-conditioning and a view of the pool or sea. Rooms on the ground floor have a walk-in shower and other rooms have a hydro-massage bath. Rooms with a private plunge pool (on the top floor terrace), Junior Suites and Suites are also available.

The gardens are lovely and contain an oval heated freshwater pool, and ample space to relax, with free sunbeds and umbrellas. Cool drinks and snacks are served here.

DINING

Breakfast is waiter served in the elegant Windsor restaurant, which also offers an à la carte menu for lunch and dinner. We recommend you pay for meals locally as there are five different restaurants in the resort to choose from (some may close at quieter times).

The comfortable lounge bar is the ideal place for pre-dinner cocktails.

LEISURE FACILITIES

The facilities of sister hotels within the Mare Nostrum Resort are available to all Sir Anthony guests, including tennis, aerobics and a gym (some are at a charge). Why not take in a show at the Pyramid theatre?

Only ten minutes from the hotel there are five golf courses to choose from. In the resort is the Mare Nostrum Spa with Thalasso and Wellness treatments. At the time of going to press the hotel were planning to close the spa for renovations - please let us update you.
