Charming traditional style rural hotel

The original part of this delightful hotel is an 18th century wood panelled manor house, which has been lovingly converted and extended to offer an hotel of style and character.

In La Escalona, El Nogal stands close to the Las Canadas National Park a very interesting area to explore and, of course, topped of by Mount Teide, well worth the drive up. The town of Vilaflor is a 10 minute drive from the hotel and offers a range of shops, bars and restaurants.

There are just 42 cosy guest rooms which vary in size and a few have smaller Canarian style windows. They all have a private bathroom, 2 have a shower no bath, satellite TV, mini-bar, a safe (small charge) and air conditioning/heating. Superior rooms are slightly larger and have better views and some have a balcony or terrace.

Breakfast is served buffet style, but dinner is waiter service. The limited menu can feature typical traditional fare including rabbit, partridge and fish. Gala Meals are included in our prices for 25 and 31 Dec. Why not sample some local restaurants too?

Lovely views from the garden and Spa

Pretty gardens surround the freshwater (unheated) pool and sunbathing areas with views across countryside towards the coast in the distance.

El Nogal has added a delightful small Spa offering treatment circuits, Turkish bath, a sauna, a lovely indoor heated pool and jacuzzi.

Rural Hotel El Nogal, offers a taste of the ‘real’ Tenerife, surrounded by nature, with the excitement of resorts a 30 minute drive away.

May we remind you that it is a little cooler here than on the coast.
