Contemporary in style with traditional 5 star service

Opened in November 2005 this hotel is a sister property to the lovely Jardines De Nivaria and represents the same high quality of standards and service.

Located on the waters edge in the small purpose built resort of Playa Paraiso the five star Roca Nivaria will appeal to those who wish to be away from the busier resorts of Tenerife South but with easy access to those areas.

The hotel is contemporary in design and has a spacious atmosphere but also manages to combine some traditional aspects too. The main building has the reception with free internet access and public areas with guest rooms and suites located in the wings on either side.

" Another hotel I liked in Tenerife was the Roca Nivaria.  First impressions of this hotel - it was like an office block from the outside, it is so contemporary, I didn’t think I wouldn’t like it at all.  But it was brilliant!  Very modern in décor and so very different from the sister hotels.  The food was lovely, especially the desserts!! I stayed in a twin seaview, the room was a really good size for 2 people.  It had fabulous views over the sea to La Gomera. Although you are a little bit isolated when comes to going out, you do have everything you need within the hotel plus they offer a shuttle bus 8 times a day to Jardines de Nivaria in Fanabe. It is suitable for all ages, I would highly recommend it to families..."

Plenty of outdoor space and a good range of rooms

The extensive grounds have lovely sub-tropical gardens and two swimming pools with views to the sea, one is seawater and one heatable freshwater, plus a heatable children’s pool and a whirlpool.

Guest rooms here are spacious and delightfully decorated with views either of the pool or gardens, or Sea views. There are Standard and larger Superior twin rooms, all have bathrooms with separate showers, bathrobes, slippers and hairdryer, Satellite TV, air-conditioning, free safe, mini bar and balcony. Junior Suites, Standard or Superior Suites are larger and ideal for families and have a separate sitting room. The Presidential and Royal Suites are spacious and offer that extra touch of luxury. Some rooms interconnect. A welcome bottle of wine and basket of fruit will be in your room on arrival.

The main restaurant offers international buffet dining with some show cooking, this is where guests have breakfast and half board dinner. The Gala dinner on 31st Dec is included in our prices. There is also an Italian and a Spanish restaurant where All Inclusive guests can also dine once during their stay. The pool restaurant serves lunch and there is a gourmet restaurant in high season. The bars and terraces are great places for a pre or post dinner drink.

A brand new Spa

Azules de Nivaria is the new Spa which offers a selection of treatments and facilities to relax the mind and body. The Spa has a large Jacuzzi, a hydro massage pool, sauna, Turkish bath, steam rooms, therapy showers, mud bath and more. A wide range of beauty treatments and massages are available, as well as treatments for couples.

Excellent sports facilities and a children’s club

Additional facilities include 2 tennis courts, a paddle tennis court, volley ball, archery, sauna and a well equipped gym. A purpose built beach is planned please ask us for an update. Daytime sports and leisure activities are organized and music or shows are offered regularly in the evenings.

Children are well catered for with a children’s club for 10 months to 12 year olds, open mornings and afternoons six days a week – please ask for more details.

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet area and although the resort outside the hotel doesn’t have a great deal to offer Roca Nivaria do operate a shuttle bus to its sister hotel Jardines de Nivaria in Fanabe, 10 minutes away, for those wishing to shop or just have a change of scene.

This addition to our portfolio is already proving very popular with our clients, perhaps because it is under the same ownership as the Jardines de Nivaria.
