" When I first saw Villa Cortés in our brochure I didn’t think I would like it, a bit too colourful. When I went to see it I was really surprised, and it has turned out to be one of my favourites. It has a great location, you can walk out in the evening for dinner and drinks, and although near to Playa de las Americas, when you are in the hotel you are not aware of it, very relaxing and peaceful. The lobby is decorated beautifully in a Mexican theme, as are the rooms which are a good size. I would recommend it to couples seeking a relaxing break but within walking distance of bars and shops etc..."

With just 120 spacious standard guest rooms, 15 junior suites and 16 full suites, the Villa Cortés retains the style and charm of a boutique hotel.

Most rooms have a queen size double bed, and they all have satellite TV, a mini-bar, free safe, air-conditioning, a balcony, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers and room service. Some twin bedded rooms interconnect and Junior Suites and Suites have a walk-in shower and bath. The junior suites with seaview are even larger and have a double sofa bed too. We prefer to offer our clients only rooms which face towards the sea or gardens rather than inland rooms. We would be delighted to tell you more about the luxurious suites too. All our clients will have fruit and water in rooms on arrival.

Spanish, Bavarian, Gourmet, Mexican and Italian cuisine

For your dining pleasure the Villa Cortés has 5 restaurants. Half board guests can enjoy buffet dining in the Veracruz restaurant. For more choice why not try the Deluxe à la carte Half Board, guests can dine in any of the Bavarian, Mexican, Italian and Gourmet restaurants. The Gala dinner on 31 Dec is included in our prices for all guests. La Sirena is open for an à la carte menu at lunchtime. The hotel beach club is on a small sandy cove and the pool bar, in a courtyard, is available for refreshments.

The Piano bar is in a courtyard and open each evening as is the lobby bar, both are ideal for a pre dinner aperitif.

A good size pool and a Spa for pampering

The large pool with a waterfall is heatable and there is a separate children’s pool sunbeds and umbrellas are plentiful. Villa Cortés has a Spa with a good selection of massage and beauty treatments, please ask us for details.

The Club House is most helpful as a source of information including pre-booking reduced rate golf at 7 local courses.
