The Villa Cortés offers guests very spacious bedrooms and a good location by the sea. The décor is really striking, contributing to the Mexican feel of the hotel.

" When I first saw Villa Cortés in our brochure I didn’t think I would like it, a bit too colourful. When I went to see it I was really surprised, and it has turned out to be one of my favourites. It has a great location, you can walk out in the evening for dinner and drinks, and although near to Playa de las Americas, when you are in the hotel you are not aware of it, very relaxing and peaceful. The lobby is decorated beautifully in a Mexican theme, as are the rooms which are a good size. I would recommend it to couples seeking a relaxing break but within walking distance of bars and shops etc..."

ACCOMMODATION

With just 130 spacious standard guest rooms, seven junior suites and 11 full suites, the Villa Cortés retains the style of a boutique hotel. Most rooms have a king-size double bed and they all have satellite TV, a mini-bar, free safe, air-conditioning, a balcony, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and room service. Some twin bedded rooms inter-connect and junior suites and suites have a walk-in shower, bath, larger terrace and a seaview. The junior suites with seaview are even more spacious and have a large sofabed too. We prefer to offer rooms which face towards the sea or gardens.

DINING

For your dining pleasure the Villa Cortés has up to five restaurants. Half board guests can enjoy buffet dining in the Veracruz, or why not upgrade to the Deluxe à la carte half board? Guests can dine in any of the Bavarian, Gourmet, Mexican and Mediterranean restaurants (one may close at quieter times) or La Sirena at lunchtime.

The hotel beach club is on a small sandy cove and the pool bar is available for refreshments.
The Piano bar is in an open courtyard and open 11am - 5pm daily, whilst the lobby bar is open in the evening, ideal for a pre-dinner aperitif.

LEISURE FACILITIES & SPA

There is a large freshwater pool (heated in winter) and a children’s pool, sunbeds and umbrellas are plentiful. Villa Cortés has a Spa with a good selection of massage and beauty treatments, please ask for details. The Club House is most helpful as a source of information
including pre-booking reduced rate golf at seven local courses.
