An exciting and unusual deluxe hotel

This five star deluxe resort, in Costa Adeje, is an exciting and unusual property in attractive landscaped sloping grounds. Standing by a lovely beach there are 478 gorgeous guest rooms including 65 Suites in 20 Canarian style ‘houses’. They are decorated in pastel shades around the pools and gardens in a village atmosphere.

The main lobby area contains reception, the piano bar, coffee lounge, beauty salon and the Club House is the centre for guest information and also offers a dining and golf reservation service.

8 swimming pools, 9 restaurants and 7 bars – more a village than hotel

The delightful gardens have eight swimming pools (2 heated) which descend in tiers towards the sea. As you pass one of the eight restaurants you will come across pretty little seating areas or the replica Bell tower, and other attractions that go to create this unique hotel.

Service excels at this lovely property and dining is a delight with Spanish, Canarian, South American, Italian, French and international cuisine to choose from and no less than 7 bars. Guests on half board can dine in most of the hotel’s restaurants from the table d'hote menu. Reservations are required. The Gala dinner on 31 Dec is included in our prices. ‘Café Bahia’ Beach Café offers a snack and lunch service.

The lovely guest rooms have a balcony or a terrace, satellite TV, air conditioning and mini-bar are standard. Most have a seaview others have a garden or pool view. Sports facilities include tennis, squash, free fitness centre and jogging whilst the beach area has water sports.

The hotel has a sauna, children’s pool, playground and mini club. Sunbeds are free of charge except on the beach where a small fee is payable.

This “Leading Hotels of the World” member is just 3 minutes walk from a shopping centre and 10-15 minutes by car to 5 golf courses.

….and now for the details.

Bahia del Duque as we have said has 20 “houses”. Fifteen of these are located around the main pools and restaurants and have the lovely standard rooms, many with seaviews, suites and junior suites.

Casas Ducales is a more luxurious VIP area of the hotel and occupies 4 “houses” with a separate check in facility and breakfast service, flexible check-out time, butler service, lobby bar and lounge. All categories are available here at a supplement.

El Mirador is the most recent “house” to have been added to the hotel. Connected to the main area by an attractive bridge, rooms here have full or partial seaviews in standard, junior suites and suite categories and are decorated in a lighter style.

For convenience the Mirador also offers a separate check-in, an additional lobby bar and a restaurant for breakfast. It has its own swimming pool and a second children’s pool. It feels a little like a separate hotel, but rooms here are the same price as the main hotel. We can request this "house" for you if you prefer – but cannot guarantee it.

The new one bedroom (on one or two floors) and two bedroom villas all have a private plunge pool and small garden. These exclusive villas are the height of luxury and have a more modern design with separate lounge, kitchenette and fabulous bathroom. The villa area also offers a bar, butler service, restaurant and reception for villa guests (special offers do not apply to villas).
