The Puente Romano is superbly located on the Golden Mile between the centre of Marbella and Puerto Banus. This member of “Leading Hotels of the World” sits in some 13 acres of lush sub-tropical gardens which slope gently down to the sea.

ACCOMMODATION

Guest rooms are in a collection of 27 low rise small buildings throughout the grounds, (no lifts). The majority of the very spacious rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard; these are superior category which we particularly recommend. Large classic rooms have not been renovated and smaller renovated classic rooms are also available.

All offer air-conditioning, mini-bar, safe, hairdryer, bathrobes, satellite TV with video channel and complimentary Wi-fi. Suites are even more spacious, with a separate sitting room and are in classic and superior categories. 24 hour room service is naturally available.

DINING

Dining at Puente Romano is a real pleasure with the Café Puente serving a gourmet buffet breakfast, an all day coffee shop service, lunch and dinner à la carte. The Roberto restaurant (seasonal) is at the Beach Club and serves a typical Mediterranean buffet for lunch and mainly Italian and Mediterranean menu for dinner with gorgeous views down the coast. Guests on B&B can also dine at the Marbella Club Hotel Golf Resort, and sign to their Puente Romano account.

LEISURE FACILITIES

To keep fit or to relax? Why not try both, starting with the three swimming pools – the Beach Club pool is heated. Sunbeds are free here and on the beach. The hotel’s renowned ten court tennis club and state of the art Fitness Centre can also play their part.

The golfer is spoilt for choice with over 50 courses within easy reach – the Marbella Club Golf Resort course is 20 minutes away and the green fee is just €65 (subject to change) or the nine hole El Higueral Golf Club is 15 minutes away (green fee is just €35 subject to change) in the hotel’s free shuttle (weekdays only during golf season). Horse riding is also here. The golf desk will book tee off times and offer reduced green fees at other courses.

After such hectic activity, perhaps a leisurely stroll on the beach or a visit to the superb spa at the Marbella Club Hotel Golf Resort, five minutes away, will prove irresistible – reservations required.

The Fitness Centre also has saunas and a superb Turkish bath, both free. Puente Romano offers guests excellent service in beautiful surroundings.
