Classic beachfront four star hotel near Puerto Banus

This is a modern hotel some 4 kms from the centre of Marbella and about 1 km from the famous marina of Puerto Banus. At Puerto Banus, there is an enormous choice of restaurants, bars, shops and night spots to enjoy all day and most of the night. It is here, too, that fabulous yachts of the rich and famous are to be seen.

Designed in a Mediterranean style, with Moorish and Andalusian influences, the hotel offers personal service, friendly and efficient staff, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

At the Occidental Coral Beach, there are just 170 guest rooms. The majority are standard twin/double rooms which can take an extra bed. Junior Suites have a sitting area and the Suites have a bedroom and a separate sitting room, both also have bathrobes.

Each room type is spacious and has air-conditioning, satellite TV, safe (small charge), mini-bar and a hairdryer. Balconies have views of the mountains over the road, the gardens or the sea. We can request a particular view, but it cannot be guaranteed. All Prestige clients will have a welcome fruit basket and mineral water on arrival.

A warm welcoming hotel with a relaxed holiday atmosphere

The Alhambra Restaurant serves a varied buffet breakfast, but in the evening Half Board guests will find buffet for starters and desserts but will have the main course, waiter served. The dress code is casual here but a little more formal in the à la carte restaurant, Florencia, for dinner, Half Board clients receive a credit when they dine here.

The Beach Club serves drinks from mid-morning, and lunch until late, so you can make the most of the beach. The Tartessos bar terrace is a lovely spot to relax and look out over the gardens.

The two adult pools and two children’s pools are fresh water. Sunbeds and umbrellas are plentiful, and are
free at the main pool, but payable on the beach and at the Beach Club.

There is also a Health Centre with a gym, jacuzzi, sauna, massage and a hairdresser. The hotel will, of course, assist golfers with reduced green fees and reservations at local courses.
