This delightful Riad is hidden away in a quiet side street on the edge of the Medina with the Place Djemaa El Fna and the Koutoubia Mosque close by.

La Maison Arabe is furnished with a combination of natural wood panelling and Moroccan style and colours which create a warm sophisticated ambience in which to relax.

Each room is stylishly unique

Each of the lovely guest rooms is different! Standard twin rooms have a shower, most junior twin rooms have a full bathroom and deluxe twin rooms also have a small balcony. The beautiful suites have a sitting room, some with a fireplace, two suites have a large terrace with Jacuzzi and super views. Every room has bathrobes and slippers, satellite TV, a mini bar, heating/air conditioning, hairdryer and a free safe.

Breakfast can be served in your room or in one of two meticulously restored inner courtyards, and dinner is served in the beautifully appointed restaurant, the menu is Moroccan without being heavy. The Club room bar also serves a selection of specialities every day. After a day out exploring, visit the hammam or enjoy a relaxing massage or facial.

If I go back for my own holiday I would choose La Maison Arabe, it is located within the Medina of the city so it is walking distance to all the main attractions, but as it is on the edge of the Medina it is not quite as bustling outside the property.  The hotel is a haven of calm within this busy City. It tends to attract a clientele who are looking for something a little different..."

Escape the city for a tranquil lunch and swim

The swimming pool of La Maison Arabe is located in beautiful quiet gardens, a 15 minute ride away on the hotel shuttle bus. This is a superb spot to relax and is exclusive to hotel guests. Lunch and drinks are served, with the same attention to detail as at the hotel, from the large tented poolside restaurant. Here is where the cookery school is based, the cookery workshops are renown, and you can learn some of the chef’s secrets, plus you dine on the meal prepared.
