A beautiful and very sophisticated Riad

This is a very beautiful sophisticated small hotel, extremely well located in the centre of Marrakech. It is within walking distance of the Koutoubia Mosque and the magnificent but chaotic Place Djemaa El Fna, the city’s huge main square next to the souk.

The Villa des Orangers was once a magnificent house which has been very sympathetically adapted to make a very warm welcoming place to stay.

There are just 19 elegant guest rooms and suites in this Riad with tiled floors and bright Moroccan rugs. Room types vary between very comfortable twin or double rooms, rooms with a terrace and truly gorgeous suites with or without a terrace. A safe, TV, air-conditioning, mini-bar, hairdryer, bath and shower, robes and slippers are standard. There are 3 luxurious suites overlooking the garden pool.

Dining here is a joy, perhaps dine in one of the small traditional lounges off the courtyard, in the restaurant, or on the terrace? Cuisine is Mediterranean with daily Moroccan specialities.

Panoramic views of the Koutoubia Mosque and the Atlas Mountains

There is a pool on the rooftop and super views over the town towards the Koutoubia Mosque and the Atlas Mountains.  The two lovely courtyards are delightful and the larger heatable pool is in the gardens, both pools have sunbeds. Massage and beauty treatments can easily be arranged.

The Villa des Orangers is a Relais & Chateaux member. Our prices include breakfast, a light lunch, non-alcoholic drinks, day-time room service and complimentary laundry service. There is no lift at Villa des Orangers. Free Wi-fi access is available in the courtyards and salons.
