A stylish and welcoming Riad in the old Medina

This is an extremely well presented “Hotel de Charme”, a completely restored 18th Century grand house in Marrakech. The beautiful Moorish architecture, exquisite carved plaster work and fascinating selection of antiques create a truly lovely warm welcoming spot to stay.

Owned by the Bouskri family, and managed by their son Kamal, the emphasis is on style, very considerable comfort and calm efficient service from the English speaking staff.

Beautiful, individual rooms and suites around the courtyard

There are just 7 guest rooms, each is unique and beautifully decorated, all have air-conditioning, bathrobes, excellent bathrooms, Wi-fi, TV, a free safe and all but one have a fireplace. The 3 deluxe rooms have a double or twin beds, there is also 1 junior suite, 2 very spacious Royal suites and a duplex suite on two floors, with a shower rather than a bath.

A Fruit basket and fresh flowers will be in your room, on arrival, and complimentary soft drinks every day.

Naturally we include a good breakfast to start each day, and why not sample the Moroccan cuisine in one of the lounges or on the rooftop terrace with magnificent views of the Atlas Mountains and the neighbouring Medina.

Riad Kniza does not yet have a pool, but a spa, 4 more suites and a pool are planned to be open by April 2008. We will update here when they are complete.

Riad Kniza is only a few minutes walk from the famous Djemma El Fna square, the souks, and cultural treasure of the city and Gueliz, the modern quarter is a only a short distance away.
