This is a quite exceptional hotel of great style.

Located outside the 16th century walls of Taroudant and about an hour from Agadir, accommodation is in 30 cottages set in enormous luxuriant gardens. Taroudant is surrounded by fertile countryside well watered by the melting snows of the High Atlas. The squares and souks provide good opportunities for buying carpets, leather goods and Berber jewellery.

All of the cottages have now been refurbished to a very high standard of comfort and include CD players. There are Junior Suites and 6 larger, Superior Junior Suites, extremely comfortable and very stylish.

Each cottage, 24 are air-conditioned and 6 have ceiling fans,  is decorated differently and has a private bathroom, a fireplace and a private terrace with views of the Atlas Mountains in the distance, some also have a private enclosed patio with day beds.

The “Maison” is extremely spacious and beautifully furnished. This accommodation is air-conditioned and includes a bedroom, a sitting room, a large bathroom, a dressing room area, a private enclosed patio and a large terrace with views over the grounds.

Much of the produce for dining comes from the hotels organic farm

Breakfast is served on your terrace, lunch by the swimming pool and dinner is in the tented dining room in the main building. A jacket or smart casual attire is preferred for dinner. Most of the food comes from the hotels organic farm. We include the festive dinners on 24, 25 and 31 Dec and 23 Mar.  Full board is also included Christmas, New Year and Easter.

Also within the main house you will find lounges, the bar, a small shop and reception.

Guests may enjoy riding from the hotel’s own stables, the croquet lawn, 2 clay tennis courts, fitness centre, beauty salon, massage room and Hammam. The hotel also organises excursions into the surrounding area, including the Atlas mountains. A car can be also hired through the hotel.
