Stunning location in the foothills of the High Atlas

This is a really delightful, small, cottage style hotel, in the foothills of the High Atlas, in Berber country. La Roseraie stands at about 3000 feet in 50 acres of stunning grounds in the Ouirgane area. Temperatures here are pleasantly cooler in summer than in Marrakech.

Accommodations, set in the extensive beautifully maintained gardens, vary in size and consist of twin rooms, junior suites, Ambassador and 2 bedroom senior suites, each with satellite TV, hairdryer, bathrobes, minibar, full bathroom and are tastefully designed in rustic style with every comfort.

The charms of this lovely four star hotel are evident as soon as one arrives – enormous truly beautiful grounds where nature is in abundance far away from the stresses of city life – Marrakech is about 1½ hour’s drive away.

A rural retreat for nature lovers (or just lovers)

There is a lot to do in this rural retreat! Nature lovers, birdwatchers and ramblers will be very comfortable. The hotel organises walks in the locality. Riders will be pleased to know the hotel has its own stables, with lessons for beginners and for the experienced rider there are opportunities for days out to visit local Berber villages.

Within the grounds there are 2 tennis courts and 3 pools (1 heatable) with sun terraces, pool towels are naturally available on request.

The hotel’s own Pinewood Hydrotherapy centre also has an indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym. At the centre guests can enjoy a range of massages, steam room and beauty treatments. Special packages can be arranged.

French and Moroccan cuisine using fresh seasonal produce

The hotel’s very attractive restaurant, which is also open to the public, provides a varied menu based on French cuisine but with some added Moroccan specialities, and using fresh seasonal produce.  Lunch and dinner can be served on the terrace by the main pool or in the rustic style dining room or in the Moroccan lounge. The Gala meal on 31 Dec is included in our prices.

We do suggest a hire car but as always we can arrange for you to be transferred to the hotel.  This hotel also would combine well with a city hotel to get the best of both worlds.
