A gracious and comfortable haven in Valletta

Outside the 16th century city walls, the Hotel Phoenicia is a grand hotel set in seven acres of secluded mature gardens and is the longest established five star hotel in Malta. Much of the original architecture remains and guests will notice a unique colonial atmosphere and hospitality.

ACCOMMODATION

There are a number of elegantly appointed Classic rooms on the third and fourth floors and Deluxe Harbour view rooms on all floors. Superior Suites have a city view whilst the Executive Suites face the harbour. Some of the rooms are decorated in a more modern design and rooms and suites on the higher floors have a balcony.

Room comforts include safe, air-conditioning, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, cable TV, hairdryer, internet access, bathrobes, minibar and 24 hour room service.

DINING

Afternoon tea is served daily in the beautiful Art Deco styled Palm Court lounge with all day coffee and light snack service. Half board dining is offered in the Phoenix restaurant where breakfast and table d’hôte dinner are served on the terrace in warmer months. The informal Pegasus Bar and Brasserie serves Mediterranean specialities while the Club Bar is the spot to enjoy an aperitif or a speciality cocktail.

LEISURE FACILITIES

The gardens are a delight and include the heated outdoor pool (subject to weather conditions), Jacuzzi and superb views of the harbour from the terrace.

For guests comfort and pleasure the Hotel Phoenicia offers a hairdressing salon, souvenir shop, fitness room and mini-golf. Free Wi-fi in some public areas.

Valletta, a World Heritage site, with its wealth of culture and history is a pleasant five minute stroll away. On Sunday mornings there is a market nearby with local crafts. Hotel Phoenicia offers a shuttle to a sandy beach once a day during the summer.
