The Gran Hotel Son Net is a colourful 17th Century mansion that enjoys a peaceful elevated position above the village of Puigpunyent with valley views.

Art lovers will enjoy the remarkable collection of modern paintings in the hotel with original works by artists such a Marc Chagall, Frank Stella, David Hockney, Andy Warhol and others.

Each of the 31 guest rooms is unique, but they all provide a very high level of comfort. Satellite TV, DVD, mini-bar, free safe, a hairdryer, robes and slippers are standard. All Classic rooms have twin beds, most superiors have double beds. Balconies are only available in some suites. Superior rooms are larger, the deluxe category are even more spacious and have views of the pool and valley beyond. The luxurious suites have a separate sitting room. New for 2008, superior and deluxe rooms with terrace, cottages and villas in the grounds, one with a private pool.

Dinner in Oleum offers a real choice - half board guests may enjoy the daily menu to include selected wines or choose from the a la carte menu. Gala meals on 24 and 31 Dec are included in our prices. The richly decorated lounge bar is just the spot for afternoon tea, a snack or a relaxing drink.

The super outdoor swimming pool is 30 metres long and overlooks the village of Puigpunyent and the surrounding mountains. There are private cabañas here offering privacy and shade on warm summer days.

The opportunity to do nothing but do it well

Son Net has the ZenZone Beauty Centre for a little pampering and the hotel will gladly organise golf, horse riding or boat hire, just let the concierge know. The area is ideal for playing golf and for excursions: walking or hiking around the Galatzó Mountain or the just wandering in the village.

Very high standards of comfort and good service are offered here. Guests may wish to hire a car for part of their stay. The hotel will be closed between 7 Jan – 8 Feb.
