The hotel is arranged in four buildings, one from each of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries and a newer one designed to blend in. ACCOMMODATION

There are just 32 double rooms, classic, or slightly larger superior categories, four singles, 17 junior suites, two superior suites with a sitting room and four luxury suites (three with a private pool and one with a plunge pool). La Residencia has superb “Tramuntana” suites located on the hill overlooking the village of Deia with the sea in the distance, all with terrace and a small garden and four with an outdoor plunge pool.

Each accommodation is furnished and decorated individually in Mallorcan style, neutral tones, shuttered windows and lovely fresh flowers every day from the hotel’s gardens. Some have a private balcony or terrace and some have a four poster bed, only two have twin beds. TV/DVD and MP3, fridge, air-conditioning, hairdryer, safe, Wi-fi, bathrobes and slippers are standard.

DINING

Dining is a pleasure at La Residencia with buffet breakfast served in the Son Fony. For the evening the romantic, award winning El Olivo, set in a former olive press, offering a superb menu and wine list. The Son Moragues terrace is an alternative to El Olivo, offering international and Mediterranean cuisine for half board guests. During the summer months the pool restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

LEISURE FACILITIES & SPA

For active moments the hotel has two tennis courts with a resident coach, two outdoor freshwater swimming pools (heated in winter), and a gym. The area is also well suited to walks of varying difficulty in the surrounding hills – advice is given with pleasure at the hotel.

La Residencia will, of course, book your tee-off times at the island’s golf courses and arrange complimentary mountain bikes too.
