This five star hotel has a regular following

An ideal location next to the beach of San Agustin, the Hotel Melia Tamarindos has lots of facilities to satisfy families and couples, many of whom become regular guests.

All 311 rooms have air-conditioning, satellite and pay TV, pillow choices, hairdryer, mini-bar, safe (free) and sea or inland views. More spacious superior (mostly seaview) rooms and Junior Suites for added comfort are available at a supplement. In the inland rooms the road can be seen from the balcony. 24-hour room service is naturally available.

International, Chinese and Italian options for dinner

The main restaurant Roque Nublo offers good dining with an international buffet, show cooking and Chinese and Italian speciality corners. There are also regular themed dinners each week. The Gala dinner on 31st Dec is included in our prices. For those who would like to dine à la carte the Casino restaurant opens its doors every night (for adults). There is daily live music in the hotel bar and the Tara poolside restaurant offers a light buffet for lunch.

The hotel’s casino Gran Canaria is here with roulette and black jack – our guests have free entrance. Smart attire in the evening is suggested.

The range of things to do is varied

Melia Tamarindos has three pools (one for children), with a snack service at the pool bar. The sunbeds by the pool are free of charge. The Spa Centre with free gym, sauna, two open-air Jacuzzis (both at a charge) massage area, beauty treatments and private sun terrace may tempt you.

Tennis (small charge), table tennis, squash, mini-golf, a children’s play house and playground, a choice of bars, lounges, hairdressers and a boutique complete the facilities.

The Club House is where activities are displayed for adults and children, and internet access is here at a charge. An unsupervised children's play house and playground have been added for 5 - 12 year olds.
