A few are in the main house, but most are in the garden wing with an open balcony or terrace. The Rosedon staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere really is a ‘home from home’ – you even help yourself to drinks in the bar or snacks in the pantry and write your own bill, regular clients will find their favourite tipple waiting.

Daily taxis to the beach included

Delightful afternoon tea is included and often served on the lovely front terrace, return taxi vouchers (daily) to use a beach on the South Shore for swimming are also included. Although Rosedon does not have a restaurant a light lunch or light supper menu is also on offer to guests here as well as the manager’s weekly swizzle party.

Ideal for dining out or for shopping

With the centre of Hamilton, the island’s capital on a few minutes walk away you can enjoy the wide range of restaurants and bars, not forgetting the shops too.  Wednesday in the summer is Harbour night in Hamilton, which is great fun with street stalls and entertainment.

With its lush tropical gardens and attractive lounges Rosedon will appeal to those who enjoy an informal, intimate hotel.
